We’re excited to welcome Graeme Williams to Ottawa for a four day intensive camp for junior squash players, March 9 to 12, 2019.
Graeme, originally from England, took on the position of Head Squash Pro at the Windsor Squash and Fitness club, in summer of 2012.
Over the next six years, Graeme grew the junior program in Windsor from a small handful of young players to what is now regarded as one of the most successful junior programs in the country. In that same time he established himself as a leading coach, being awarded the Ontario Coaches Association’s Trailblazer Award, and Squash Ontario’s Mark Sachvie Coaching Achievement Award.
“Graeme has been our National Women’s Coach for a few years. My teammates and I absolutely respect him and his coaching approach, and I have benefitted from his coaching greatly. What a great opportunity for the Ottawa juniors!” – Three-time Canadian Nationals title winner Samantha Cornett.
Joining Graeme, we have Christo Bilukidi leading the speed and fitness training. Following a successful career in the NFL, Christo has returned to Ottawa to help train the next generation of elite athletes.
Christo is no stranger to Squash Gloucester, having lead the last two camps in off court training. Christo has been the the speed and fitness trainer for a number of our elite players, and we have seen remarkable improvement in their game on the provincial tournament circuits.
We’re very fortunate to be partnering with Christo and his team of personal trainers, now operating out of the re-purposed Rideau High School.
