We start each session with 3⁄4 court. This is a very important social time for the juniors,
as they start their session getting into the swing of the game.
The red lines of the court divide the floor into 3 sections: the front half, and the back half, which is then further divided into the left side and right side.
As the majority of players are right handed, we typically start with the group of players (max of 6) all in the back left quarter of the court. this area is “out of bounds”.
The first player to arrive starts as the receiver, and as other players arrive they join in on the group of servers in the “out of bounds” box.
The winner of each rally stays on as the receiver, until they lose the rally, at which point the join the back of the line in the out-of-bounds box, waiting for their turn to play again.
